The CNPEM Visitor Center's design concept features a translucent tower as a central and striking element in the landscape, an artifact of scientific knowledge perfectly aligned with the center of Sirius. It's a curious object to those who approach, seemingly floating, but upon contact with the ground, it develops roots that expand and create spaces immersed in a beautiful garden of virtuous proportions.
These roots form a welcoming canopy carefully nestled into the topography, organizing the more open-access programs, independent of the exhibition spaces. These roots also form a terraced garden, which is expected to become a park of regional interest in conjunction with the Visitor Center.

During the day, the tower allows natural light to enter the circulation areas, reinforcing the connection between the building's interior and the exterior, offering panoramic views of the CNPEM campus. Visitors will be immersed in various scientific and technological themes within the sealed exhibition areas, and as they move between floors, they will be able to glimpse the campus laboratories where research on these topics is conducted.
At night, the tower becomes a luminous beacon, revealing its inner components and symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge.
